Housegroups meet most weeks at the above venues. If you would like to join a group, or would like to find out what a housegroup does, please speak to Joce Goodyear.

DO YOU BELONG TO A HOUSE GROUP?

If not. why not consider joining one? It gives us all a chance to meet, and get to know better, other members of the church family. We pray  together for each other, study a Bible passage and, very important, we begin  with a chat over a cup of tea or coffee.

Over the past few weeks all groups have been following up the Sunday sermon, with questions from Sarah and Joce on the relevant section of the Sermon on the Mount from St. Matthew's Gospel. At other times. groups have decided their own agenda, under the overall direction of Joce. The group I go to on a Monday evening has looked at, among other things, famous women from the Bible, the psalms know as the Songs of Ascent and the life, work and character  of the apostle Paul. We have on occasions watched a video and discussed the  issues raised. We have had several DIY evenings of our own favorite prose,  poetry and music. We also indulge ourselves 2 or 3 times a year with a 'jolly' -an evening of food and drink at someone's house.

Groups meet once a week and the 5 existing groups and their  venues are all listed in the notices on a Sunday, so you can choose a day or  venue which suits you.

If you would like to join a group, do have a word with Joce. You'll be made most welcome
